This selection of works represents a variety of inspirational and unusual themes, new and experimental works, and anthromorphic creations that continue to evolve through Susan Gott's work over time.

Through drawing and visual abstraction, Susan finds new meaning, develops her vision, and explores new directions. The Doorway and Passageways Series are inspired by the concepts of the ancient Egyptian False Doors and are a metaphor as a passageway for Spirit.

The image of the concentric rings is another underlying symbol that is prevalent in the work. Susan also explores in anthromophic concepts of how human and animal are repesented in one. These investigations continually open new sources of inspiration for her work and strengthen a connection between her art and that, which is timeless. The unfolding of these archetypal images and the creation of the artwork embraces the essence of the feminine and the creative process becomes ritual.
